A Sav is someone who stands out in his actions that show that he is fearless, ballsy, competent, and in simple terms just an every day Savage. A savage should not have to ask to be a Sav.

Sean Connery- 20th Century Sav: On Domestic Violence
You don't see much of the old Scot, anymore. Needless to say he's one of the most prolific savs of the past 100 years. He's also the only actor to play both James Bond and the guy from Finding Forrester.
