A Sav is someone who stands out in his actions that show that he is fearless, ballsy, competent, and in simple terms just an every day Savage. A savage should not have to ask to be a Sav.

Sav of the Day
There's never been any question about it: Wes Welker is a sav. I mean, he's a WHITE wide receiver, well under 6 foot, but he's still managed to be one of most threatening players with the ball in his hand. Yesterday's press conference confirmed his sav status, where Welker took numerous jabs at noted foot fetishist by using many foot puns. Even a Jets fan can appreciate the subtle rip at Ryan, in contrast to the blatant bulletin board material the Jets players have been throwing out in interviews. That is why Welker is today's sav of the day.
